# مشكلة الدانتيل

أكبر مشكلة منفردة في حساب الكربون حتى الآن يمكن تلخيصها في «مشكلة الدانتيل». تشبه مواقع إزالة الغابات في الجنوب العالمي عند حدودها دانتيلًا مخرمًا أكثر من كونها خطوطًا مرسومة بدقة.&#x20;

في حين أن هذه المنهجية هي من الناحية المفاهيمية منهجية استعادة، فإننا نوصي بأن تمتد طبقة الكربون إلى خارج مقاطع الاستعادة وأن تغطي كامل قطعة الأرض المسجلة.&#x20;

غير أن فوائد قصر الموقع على الاستعادة فقط عند تقييم كربونه محدودة.&#x20;
