# Unidad de biodiversidad

La unidad de Biodiversidad Interoperable (IBU) normaliza de forma fiable [Tiempo](https://unit.savimbo.com/time) a un mes, [Área](https://unit.savimbo.com/area) a una hectárea, y [Valor](https://unit.savimbo.com/value) a evaluaciones de referencia a partir de fuentes de datos públicas. 

Lo que queda por determinar para las metodologías es una evaluación fiable de [Integridad](https://unit.savimbo.com/integrity) incremento. 

Nota: aunque el gráfico siguiente muestra un período de seguimiento de 6 meses por simplicidad, el plazo aceptado en la industria para la acreditación de incremento es un [período de seguimiento](https://unit.savimbo.com/time#longer-term-projects) de dos años.
