# Masalah renda

Masalah terbesar dalam menghitung karbon sejauh ini dapat diringkas sebagai "masalah renda". Lokasi deforestasi di belahan selatan dunia di batas-batasnya lebih mirip renda rajut yang berumbai daripada garis yang rapi dan jelas. 

Walau metodologi ini secara konsep adalah metodologi restorasi, kami merekomendasikan agar lapisan karbon meluas di luar segmen restorasi dan mencakup seluruh petak lahan yang terdaftar. 

namun manfaat membatasi lokasi hanya pada restorasi saat menilai karbonnya sangat kecil.
